Simple Holiday Decor Ideas

Like I said in my last post, I love decorating for the Holidays. But, with the lack of time and budget I would like to have, I try to keep my decor pretty simple. I also have been trying to craft more and more decorations. One of the simplest and cutest things I have come up with is this:

All it is is my cupcake stand with a little garland and filled with sparkly ornaments. It makes an adorable centerpiece, and everyone comments on how festive it is. Last night my best friend asked where I bought it. She couldn't believe it was a cupcake stand.

Another of my favorite displays are these:

I got these printables at Craftily Ever After a few years ago. I love printables and how they can be changed out for every season. She gave them away for free, and I just sent them to Wal Mart to have them printed for a few bucks. You can find a ton of (mostly free) printables out there, and they make a cute statement. And for good measure, here's the rest of this display:

The ornaments on the mirror are mostly for my son, because he loves walking past that mirror every morning, but also another inexpensive decor idea!

You can also use the printables and just pretty up the frames they are in.

It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but I just took the frame and stuck some rhinestone snowflakes on it. I am a big fan of subway art...I got this one from the same place as my other printables. And who doesn't love a little bling?

Any type of crafted Christmas trees also make adorable decor. I've made a couple over the years, and plan on making a couple more. I put them somewhere different every year. This year they are on my kitchen windowsill.
